My Frustration with Weight Loss Diets

First off, I can tell you I’ve tried many diets in the past. I’ve tried low carb diets, low calorie diets, the South Beach diet, raw food diets, etc. and none of them kept the weight off permanently(except this weight loss diet).

In fact, many times I would feel guilty because I would gain more weight than ever before after I quit the diet. It’s like it was worse than before.

Often, many of the diets I tried had really difficult meal plans to follow while calling themselves one of the real weight loss programs. These difficult meal plans and calorie counting just made the whole thing real exhausting.

I had a full time job and didn’t have the time to follow some diet guru who evidently thinks the world revolves around him and everyone should have the time to follow his complicated instructions.

Yes, I had some initial success with some of these so-called real weight loss programs, but like I said, I would be happy at first, but then disappointed when it all came to a crashing hault.

I knew there had to be a way to keep the weight off permanently while following easier directions.

Real Weight Loss Programs for Everyday People

Real weight loss programs are hard to find with so many programs out there that don’t keep their promises. There are many diets on the internet and books in stores, which makes it confusing for people who need honest help with their weight. In this article I’ll talk about three weight loss diets that I personally feel have a good track record and deliver on their promises.

Strip that Fat – this weight loss program focuses on educating you on proper balance of exercise and certain food groups. Being one of the real weight loss programs, it reveals many foods, which help you lose weight while keeping you healthy. Some of these foods are a little controversial to some so-called diet experts, but the diet does get people to lose weight in a balanced reasonable way.

Fat Loss 4 Idiots – This diet has been around a long time and it’s considered to be one of the real weight loss programs because of its long track record all over the world. We know this diet works because of the sheer amount of testimonials and forums on the internet, which have users of the diet. They help and encourage each other while following this program and many people have lost weight using it. The program is based on a calorie shifting approach, which means you shift the amount of calories you eat each day drastically. This shifting from high to low or low to high created a high metabolism and increases fat burning hormones.

Program Yourself Thin is also one of the real weight loss programs I’ll discuss because it uses an approach I’ve benefited from. This program focuses on eliminating the subconscious causes of weight gain. In other words, it’s not about controlling what you eat with will power and following exercising programs. It’s about changing the mental habits and conditioning that gets us there in the first place! The program explains that often people have false choices in their mind, which seems real at the time, and they cause suffering. For example, I may feel I need to eat a piece of pie because trying to stay thin won’t be fun, it’s difficult, and makes life boring. Therefore, I’ll have the tasty pie now. That’s a false argument that’s been playing in my head for years. Programming my mind in a different way will eliminate this pattern of thinking.
